About The Photographers Gallery

The Photographer's Gallery, located at the Ramillies Street in London is deemed to be the first independent gallery in England that features entirely photography. It consists of every form of photography any earthly being could ever imagine!

The Gallery houses exhibitions and also features exhibitions of world distinguished photographers. One such is the photography of Cornel Lucas. The Photographers Gallery is also well known as the host of the Deutsche Börse Photography Prize.  It holds talks and events for those who interested and also education to amateur photographers. They offer a printing service, where you certainly could pick up a souvenir of your visit. It also has a bookshop which has a wide variety of photography books, magazines etc. and an unusual array of cameras. The Gallery is also provided with a cafe to make sure of an enjoyable visit.     

The Photographer's Gallery is opened from Tuesday to Sunday weekly. The opening times are; 11.00 to 18.00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, 11.00 to 20.00 on Thursdays and Fridays and 12.00 18.00 on Sundays. Admission to this gallery is free of charge. The easiest way to get here is to take the tube for Oxford Circus and take a few minutes walk down the Oxford Street to the Ramillies Street on your right.
